Lead Trace on your campus
For students who build hardware and want the people around them building too. Trace credit every month, a discount on everything else, and a direct line to the founders.
Four perks, from the day you're accepted
$50 of credit, every month
It lands on the 1st, and your first month arrives the day you're accepted. Unused credit carries over, so a busy month costs you nothing.
25% off every top-up
Added to whatever discount a credit pack already has, so a large pack comes to 45% off.
$10 for every referral
Share your link or your code. When someone you bring subscribes to Pro or Ultra, $10 of Trace credit is yours.
A direct line to the founders
Your questions, and what your campus needs, go straight to the people building Trace.
Get students designing boards
Three steps
- 1
Apply with your school email
We send a code to your school address to confirm you're a student. Any school, any country.
- 2
Hear back within a week
The founders read every application and email you their decision.
- 3
Start the same day
Your referral link and first month of credit are waiting on your dashboard.
- Who can apply?
- Any current student with a school email, at any university in any country, in any year of study. You don't need PCB experience, just the will to get people building.
- Is the program paid?
- The perks are Trace credit, not cash: the monthly credit, the top-up discount and referral rewards all land on your Trace account.
- How do referrals count?
- Someone signs up with your link, or enters your code before they subscribe. Once they pay for Pro or Ultra and the payment has stood for 14 days, $10 of credit is added to your account.
- What's expected of me?
- A few hours a week, spent however works on your campus. Be honest about Trace, and always say you're a Trace ambassador when you share your code.
- What happens when I graduate?
- The program is for current students. Credit already on your account stays yours.
